On the XRP Ledger (XRPL), the eagerly awaited automated market maker (AMM) function has gone live along with liquidity pools that demonstrate the rapidly expanding use of the new feature. These liquidity pools, which house a diverse range of assets in private pools, have exceeded the 1,000 milestone, according to an update from XRPScan.
As to the statistics, the XRP/XCASH pair with the AMM account named “rUCLr.ABx6D” with a balance of 273,184,692.307334 LPToken is part of one of the largest liquidity pools. The long-term desire for this product is highlighted by the continual advancements in XRP Ledger with the introduction of the AMM functionality.

The AMM currently presents XRP Ledger as a promising location for ideas linked to decentralised finance (DeFi) and other decentralised exchanges (DEX). Even though it is one of the most flexible Layer-1 blockchain networks, it has lagged behind its more important counterparts due to the absence of essential capabilities like the AMM.
David Schwartz, CTO of Ripple, also recognised the launch of the AMM function, an invention that took around two years to build. The veteran cautioned customers to exercise caution while dealing using the AMM, even as he anticipates the impact on traders and inventors.
Start of many milestones to come
The ultimate goal of XRP Ledger is to develop into a thriving ecosystem that can rival other big chains like Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and BNB Chain (BNB), instead of only launching this AMM.
Key fixes, such as the Clawback amendment, were also launched prior to the AMM’s mainnet debut. When funds from wallets need to be recovered due to fraud or other circumstances, this functionality makes it possible.
