Shiba Inu: Crucial Warning About Top SHIB Dev Sent out to Shiba Inu Community

SHIB

Scammers are still using the X platform to pose as members of the SHIB development team, thus the entire SHIB community has received a warning from the “Shibarmy Scam Alert” (@susbarium) account.

This time, a Telegram social media account has been seen pretending to be Kaal Dhairya, a prominent SHIB developer.

Scam alert and warning issued to community

“Shibarmy Scam Alert” served as a reminder to the SHIB community that impersonators and fraudsters aim to mislead people by creating phoney accounts and providing material that might cast doubt on a project. In addition, con artists want to trick consumers into visiting phoney websites in order to obtain personal information about them that they may utilise against them in the future.

In addition to emphasising the value of staying in touch with official SHIB team members, the anti-scam account informed users that no one from the team will ever try to message them through direct message, ask them to link their wallets, or seek any personal information.

TREAT token warning

Two days prior, the aforementioned source released a second fraud notice pertaining to the highly awaited token TREAT, which would power the layer-3 solution upon its introduction and construction on top of the Shibarium blockchain.

This article served as a reminder that, in spite of recent reports to the contrary, the SHIB team has not yet officially released TREAT. The anti-fraud account cautions the SHIB troops from taking part in any illicit activities linked to TREAT and advises them to “refrain from engaging in any transactions or investments related to TREAT until its release is confirmed by legitimate sources.”

SHIB burns on rise

Another development is that earlier today, the SHIB burn rate, a significant statistic, showed a discernible increase, according to the Shibburn account. A total of 5,862,502 SHIB tokens have been moved into unspendable blockchain addresses and out of the circulating supply over the last 24 hours, representing a 19.64% increase.

The two biggest fires that have occurred here are 1,010,509 and 3,285,122 SHIB. Thus far, the SHIB team and users have torched a staggering 410,726,111,151,270 in total. This year, as well as towards the end of 2023, Shiba Inu developers have contributed to the burning of many billion meme currencies.
