Chumbi Valley (CHMB): A Charming RPG Blockchain Game Being Built on BSC & Polygon

Chumbi Valley is a charming RPG blockchain game being built on BSC & Polygon.

Chumbi are adorable NFT creatures that inhabit a lush and mysterious forest valley. All items and creatures in the game are blockchain based tokens and NFTs. Chumbi Valley’s visuals and gameplay are completely original and inspired by classics like Pokémon, Zelda, Stardew Valley and the Studio Ghibli movies.

What is Chumbi Valley?

Chumbi Valley is a mystically themed blockchain game that runs on Binance Smart Chain and Polygon, which gives the game great advantages like fast transactions and zero fees. App-based versions for PC, Mac, Android and iOS will soon be released to cater to a wider audience. Players will find the game’s theme and look familiar, as it was inspired by some of the most successful games in history, including Zelda and Pokemon.

And since this is a blockchain game, all items found within Chumbi Valley are all NFTs, which players can genuinely own. Players can earn and advance in this game by fighting, exploring, crafting, and other exciting activities that they will discover along their journey.

Team behind the project

Chumbi Valley founder and CEO Aisha Venables is also the founder of Strange Planet Studio, a company that specializes in e-commerce, graphic design and photography, equipping you with experience that can drive critical game elements forward.

How does Chumbi Valley work?

Every game wouldn’t be complete without the presence of such adorable characters, and for this game’s entry, it would be ‘Chumbi’. These cute playable characters have a “spiritual connection” in the mystical valley where they live and are tasked with protecting it at all costs.

To kick-start the players’ journey through the game, their first Chumbi will be given away for free, called “Ancestor Chumbi”, which will guide them through the basic tasks. But the problem is that players could not trade or sell that specific character.

Energize your Lead

For anyone who has played Pokemon, Chumbi Valley’s gameplay will be fun and familiar as players need to fight other Chumbi, including their trainers, to acquire higher levels.

And of course, as players’ Chumbi reach higher levels, these mystical creatures can defeat more powerful enemies and earn greater rewards.

lead sage

A Chumbi can be equipped with “magical know-how” by sending him to a Chumbi Sage, who would teach him how to acquire tokenized items in-game and a Chumbi can gather these valuable things even if the player controlling him is offline.

Chumbi food

Everyone deserves happiness, including Chumbis themselves, because in their world, “happiness” is the very food that makes them strong.

Players need to “feed” their Chumbi with higher levels of happiness to unlock higher stakes rewards and speed up their game progress.

Chumbi unique pieces

As Chumbis are NFT assets, their value comes not only from the rewards they acquire in-game, but also from the rarity of their body parts.

Each Chumbi is made up of several parts, such as eyes, ears, mouth, horns, and fur. Additionally, players should know that Chumbi has a “Main Type” and a “Coat Type”, and the game offers a total of 15 main types, each with its own 10 coat variations.

In other words, 150 types of coats can appear on all types of Chumbi, and each character can be even more unique with the hundreds of body parts and patterns available to players. Players may also have the chance to acquire rare body parts and coats when creating their Chumbi characters.

battles

Each Lead starts with 2 “attack moves”, 2 “effect moves” and a unique skill found in their own genetics, and all of these skills would increase as players progress through the game.
One of the most interesting aspects of Chumbi’s 2 attack moves is that he encourages players to plan their moves and not just attack mindlessly.

Why? Because a character’s first attack move is based on his “main type”, while his second attack move is based on his “coat type”, which must be used strategically to gain the upper hand in a battle.

Each Chumbi can gain experience or “XP” and level up by defeating Chumbi opponents through skills and strategies. But just like any fighter, whether in real life or in virtual worlds, Chumbi also needs to energize himself from time to time.

Based on the rules of the game, every time a Lead’s level increases by 5, he needs to chew a “candied apple” to be able to jump to the next level, and players can create these delights by fusing Lucky Star tokens and “apples” . ”

CHMB Token

CHMB, or the Chumbi Token, is the main currency in the game and plays a central role in the entire Chumbi Valley ecosystem. It is designed to be used for critical in-game transactions such as paying for new Chumbi, land, Wandering Merchant items, crafting fees, Sage fees, and Marketplace purchases.

Players would also be incentivized to keep the CHMB and as a result create natural price growth that can benefit both players and the ecosystem.

Additionally, the CHMB will soon allow players to participate in the governance vote through an upcoming DAO where they can have a voice in the future direction of the game.

LSTS (Lucky Star Token)

LSTS is the game’s secondary token designed to be a primary requirement for improving Chumbi’s skills. Even though it has an infinite supply, its precious value is constantly maintained in the game through burning in “breeding”, “happiness”, “spells” and “leveling” transactions in Chumbi Valley. Players can earn LSTS tokens by participating in PvE or PvP battles, and players must strive to defeat stronger enemies to earn more LSTS.

For PvE battles, players must have what it takes to face and defeat Wild Cursed Chumbi, and for PvP, they must be strong enough to challenge and conquer their fellow Chumbi Valley players.
In addition to participating in battles, LSTS can also be obtained through farming, selling in-game assets, collecting resources, and completing in-game quests.

Sanctuary of Donation

Shrine of Giving is a virtual “shrine” where players can lock their CHMB tokens for a specific period and be incentivized with staking rewards. Locked tokens will help decrease CHMB circulation, further increasing token value and game economy.

Market

The market is where players can buy, sell, and trade Chumbi, in-game items, resources, crops, cosmetics, land, and other valuable items that can improve their characters’ abilities and aesthetics.

wandering merchant

The “Wandering Trader” is as literal as it gets; he is a wandering merchant who settles in places where players can easily see him. He sells various items including Chumbi cosmetics, seeds, decorative items, and a long list of other things that sometimes include rare items that players should be on the lookout for.

He will also express interest in buying players’ crops and resources in exchange for Lucky Star tokens, which can help strengthen players’ token assets.

Bottom Line

Chumbi Valley has interesting gameplay and tokenomics, which gives it great potential to be a successful play-to-win game. But as everyone knows, the P2E realm is a highly competitive battleground, which means a steady stream of new games can always challenge Chumbi Valley’s offerings.

It remains to be seen if the game can keep up with the challenge and continue to innovate and satisfy players along the way.
