Top Cardano Developer Unveils Epic Future Plans: Here’s What to Expect

Cardano

Sebastien Guillemot, a well-known blockchain engineer and contributor, has shared the future goals for the Cardano ecosystem. When questioned about the potential for creating trustless bridges and Layer 2 solutions, the developer emphasised the team’s commitment to making it possible for Cardano as a whole to benefit from the creation of such advancements.

With the April release of its own Layer 2 solution, Guillemot’s Paima Studios had already made great progress in this area. In addition to allowing users from other networks to play games built on Cardano, this release allowed Cardano users to enjoy on-chain gaming using the native coin ADA.

Building on this development, Input Output, another Cardano developer, released Hydra on the main network in the first few days of May. A group of Layer 2 protocols called Hydra were created to improve Cardano’s scalability and flexibility while addressing a variety of use cases that call for quick and affordable transactions.

More innovations in Cardano

In a recent statement, Guillemot emphasised how chain solutions, such as sidechains and multi-tiered layers, are the main focus inside the Cardano development ecosystem. Guillemot invented the Milkomeda Asset Consolidator (MACC) in an effort to address the difficulties projects experienced while trying to raise money across several chains. This novel approach seeks to pool funding from many chains and combine all sales into a single Cardano asset.

Guillemot claims that the MACC will remove the liquidity obstacles that projects must overcome in order to convert their presale token into the asset for their finished product. Due in part to the lack of interest from venture capitalists, this consolidation function speeds the procedure and gives creators entering Cardano’s DeFi ecosystem access to additional funding. Cardano, in Guillemot’s opinion, will top all other platforms for raising money for innovative projects.
