Cardano Mainnet Receives New Smart Contract Toolset Deployment: Details

Cardano

Input Global Output (IOG), a Cardano developer, has declared that the Marlowe smart contract toolset is currently operational on the Cardano mainnet.

For the purpose of writing and executing smart contracts, Marlowe is a collection of tools and a DSL. Marlowe may be used by users who have no prior programming or DSL technical expertise.

Users can create and execute smart contracts on the Cardano mainnet using the Marlowe programming language and smart contract toolkit.

Haskell, JavaScript, Typescript, and other well-known programming languages are all compatible with Marlowe. Developers may write, integrate, and deploy contracts in a very natural way right out of the box because to this compatibility.

By providing a set of tools for swiftly and simply writing smart contracts, the recently announced Marlowe is expected to benefit Cardano and the greater blockchain ecosystem.

Developers and builders can quickly create, test, deploy, and integrate Cardano smart contracts into dApps and platforms thanks to Marlowe’s inaugural release.

IOG asserts that low-code tools for installing and executing smart contracts will be feasible in later versions through collaborations with third-party suppliers.

Cardano boasts notable developments in May

IOG recently provided an update on the advancements achieved in May, including the release of core node version 8.0.0, which introduces a new governance action that makes it easier to conduct on-chain SPO polls.

Additionally, Input Output Global’s (IOG) first light wallet platform, Lace, was updated to version 1.1.0. New wallet recovery options, improved UX, and the ability to see balances in a variety of fiat currencies are all included in this update.

The first hydra-node and hydra-plutus scripts to be compatible with the mainnet were included in the 0.10.0 release, which was also provided by the Hydra team.
