Major crypto exchange Bitrue has announced preparations for another listing that will be scored by the Cardano-based meme currency SNEK.
Meanwhile, the value of this just-launched joke cryptocurrency has risen to a new record high.
SNEK to be listed by Bitrue after CoinEx
According to a recent tweet from prominent cryptocurrency trading platform Bitrue, the exchange plans to add the spot trading pair SNEK/USDT on June 2 at 10:00 a.m. UTC.
The Cardano blockchain’s SNEK is referred to be “the chillest meme coin” by the community. Its objective is to lure more users from other blockchains to Cardano and to unify communities throughout the Cardano chain.
As reported by U.Today, on May 31, CoinEx, a centralised cryptocurrency exchange founded in 2017, listed SNEK.
SNEK price hits new all-time high
SNEK has hit a new historic price level of $0.001521, according to information released by CoinMarketCap earlier today. The meme currency has since pulled back and is currently being traded at $0.001125. This is 23.87% less than the most recent record high.
The “chillest meme coin” on Cardano set an all-time high for the third time in a row this month. SNEK soared to $0.0005351 on May 26, the day before the last one.
With a market cap of $88,831,813, the meme currency is now ranked 2,665th.
