Shytoshi Kusama Remains Silent, SHIB Army Expresses Concern

Shiba Inu’s chief developer, Shytoshi Kusama, who is said to have invented the game with Ryoshi, has been silent for a considerable amount of time on the official Shibarium Telegram channel.

His final tweet with text other than emojis was discovered last week. Many SHIB members on Telegram now appear to be anxious about their leader’s disappearance, and some are unsure whether there will be any further Shibarium-related blog posts before the August Canadian blockchain conference.

Last Monday, Shytoshi Kusama sent the last true tweet with a text message, in which he advised SHIB customers to exclusively purchase cold wallets directly from manufacturers. In response to a recent Shibarium milestone, in which the total number of transactions surpassed 31 million, he tweeted a “party face” emoji on Saturday.

There have only been a few retweets after then. There haven’t been any posts from the primary SHIB developer in a while on the “Shibarium Tech” Telegram channel.

On Telegram, several SHIB supporters are also pleading with Shytoshi to write another article about Shibarium before the ETH Toronto conference, which will be held in Canada on August 15–16.

Despite the marketing specialist for the SHIB team called Lucie’s caution that there is no set release date for Shibarium, many anticipate the Layer-2 blockchain for Shiba Inu to launch in August. She just mentioned that the devs are almost done with the Shibarium mainnet and are about to deploy it in a recent tweet.

Shibarium’s Puppynet beta has been operational since March 11; as of today, it has processed 32,355,623 transactions and has 17,062,580 wallet addresses linked to it. On Puppynet, a total of 1,840,983 blocks have been produced thus far.
