7.5 Billion Shiba Inu (SHIB) Unexpectedly Land in Voyager Wallet: Surprise or Setup?

SHIB

In a shocking change of events, the wallet of struggling American cryptocurrency broker Voyager mysteriously became richer with a staggering 7.45 billion Shiba Inu tokens, worth around $60,754. The surprise did not end there; just a few days earlier, more SHIB tokens worth over $300,000 had been put into the same address.

The sudden influx of digital assets could cause some concern, especially in light of Voyager’s current financial situation. However, a thorough investigation of the on-chain transaction history has turned up some fascinating facts.

It was discovered that another account connected to Voyager, especially communicating only with Shiba Inu tokens, was the source of these enigmatic deposits. Additionally, it appears that this intermediate address was linked to both Voyager and significant centralised infrastructure, like Coinbase, Robinhood, and Crypto Com.

No surprise

There are rumours that this middle address might be an important conduit between Voyager’s primary wallet and its users. A staggering 60 billion SHIB and 5 ETH tokens have been sent to this address in the last two weeks, according to recent statistics, indicating continued activity.

Voyager’s primary wallet, which contains an astounding 1.4 trillion SHIB, or $12 million, is far from empty, though. The wallet also contains a variety of other coins for a total of $26.6 million, over 9,000 Ethereum tokens worth $16.6 million, and over 9,000 other coins.
