Shytoshi Kusama, the eponymous community and leader of the SHIB developers, has advised SHIB users on Discord about issuing NFTs on Shibarium, which will be allowed after the Layer 2 blockchain is published on mainnet.
Shiba Inu’s official marketing expert, @LucieSHIB, posted a screenshot of this exchange on her X app profile page.
“DYOR and be careful”: SHIB lead developer
Shytoshi Kusama appeared on the Shibarium Tech Discord server and started conversing with regular members. One of them requested the SHIB leader whether instructions on how to make NFTs using Shibarium would be published after claiming that he was drawn to DeFi through Shiba Inu.
Kusama advised him to pick whichever platform based on Shibarium they deemed to be the most appropriate. Shytoshi cautioned the user to exercise caution and conduct his own research (DYOR).
The entire affair had the feel of a little AMA. The following query concerned if Shytoshi intended to do any SHIB burns prior to the introduction of Shibarium. It is likely that this will occur during the ETH Toronto event, which will take place in Canada on August 15β16 and which SHIB will be a key sponsor of. Shytoshi Kusama will also give a lecture through AI at this event.
Kusama promises three new “partnershibs,” war on X app declared
The enigmatic Shiba Inu leader had written a message on the Telegram channel with the same name the day before. He mentioned the existence of three new “partnershibs.” The Shibarium team has already signed one of them, and will shortly add several other professionals who will aid in its progress towards widespread decentralisation.
Details on the other two will be released later. Kusama also mocked Elon Musk’s renamed Twitter programme, X, by offering SHIB users the following “equation”: “SHIB > X.”
He stated on Discord that Shibarium, whenever it is released, would demonstrate to the whole crypto world that Shiba Inu will always be larger than X or any other coin.
Elon Musk, however, recently denied rumours that the X app will introduce a native cryptocurrency and underlined that this would never occur. Additionally, Musk is known for his love of memes and the DOGE cryptocurrency.
The SHIB team organised a “meme battle” to select the best meme to prove Shiba Inu’s superiority to the X app, as reported by U.Today on Thursday.
