If DOGE Ever Integrated on X App, It May Be Far Bigger Than Just That, Here’s Why

DOGE

User @JennyChachan of the X app (formerly known as Twitter until being recently rebranded by tech mogul Elon Musk) enquired of Elon Musk, the owner of X and Tesla, how to view X live videos on the front panel inside a Tesla car.

In response, Musk said he intended to develop a unique native programme that would let Tesla users view the most recent postings from X, including live videos, on the displays of their electric vehicles.

Potential launch of DOGE on X and expanded DOGE use by Tesla

This creates excellent opportunities for the adoption of Dogecoin, which Elon Musk frequently discussed before finalising the $44 billion acquisition of Twitter in late October of last year.

The Dogecoin community now anticipates Musk to make the original meme cryptocurrency the currency of X app, in line with his repeated pronouncements about DOGE integration on Twitter for paying content producers and also as a method of making micropayments on various podcasts and interviews.

Tesla already accepts DOGE

To enable content creators to get paid for their work, Musk has already implemented a monetization tool that uses longer-than-usual texts and live videos. However, since he finalised the acquisition agreement last year, he has not mentioned integrating DOGE.

For its part, Tesla incorporated DOGE in December 2021 to sell merchandise. The following spring of 2022 saw SpaceX do the same.

In addition, Tesla started offering charging stations in Santa Monica from the beginning of 2022. Then Elon Musk announced that Tesla owners may pay them in Dogecoin to charge their vehicles.
